Senior parishioners hold summer encounter
Naga City --- Over a hundred senior citizens from and outside of the Parish of Our Lady of Peñafrancia were treated to a one-man mini concert on Bikol, Spanish and English songs of yesteryears by Allan Olivera, to dancing, lots of games and prizes, grocery items, snacks and lunch during the Penafrancia Parish Senior Parishioners Fellowship whole day- Summer Encounter, Part II, last Sunday, May 21 at the Parish Hall and Garden, here. Capping the Encounter was the Paraliturgy presided over by Fr. Rey Jose F. Rellora. These Fellowship activities were made possible thru the support of Dr. Marimil Bombase of Tomasinong Bikolano, Mrs. Adoracion Lopo-Pena of West Covina, Ca. USA, Ms. Raquel Ragragio, the Parish, and a long time anonymous Benefactor. In closing, chairman Amparado, after due consultation with Dr. Bombase, announced the resumption of the Fellowship Elderly Health Lecture Series on June 18, this year with Dr. Abegail Abonal as guest lecturer on “Kidney Disease & Dialysis”. The Lecture Series, as in the past, is free to all senior citizens.
