Man shot dead

IRIGA CITY --- A 48-year old farmer, identified as Jimmy Barcenal y Tañada, was shot dead with bullet wounds in different parts of his body.

According to the city police here, about 10 suspects, all armed with long firearms came and ransacked the victim’s house in Zone 5, sitio Tubigan, Brgy. Sta Maria, this city, at about 2:00 p.m. last Saturday, April 6. The victim was resting on the terrace of his house with her live-in partner when the suspects barged in for unknown reasons.

Twelve pieces of empty shells were found at the crime scene that were turned over by the victim’s brother to the Iriga police.
