GOING FOR GOLD

GOING FOR GOLD! Camarines Sur National High School (CSNHS) alumni of Batch 1973, Edwin Floresta (left), a retired Saudi Arabia Quantity Surveyor and now a businessman in Pili with Fr. Mario Gaite, Rector of the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary (HRMS), and Bienvinida Copla-Artuz (right), a college professor/former NCF Dean of College of Education and College of Arts and Sciences and now with UK Pru Life visited the speech lab of the seminary for a familiarization tour. The duo is part of the Bicol Group planning committee of Batch-73, who will be the golden jubilarians during the school’s homecoming celebrations in 2023. A speech laboratory is one of the legacy projects under consideration by the batch as a gift to their alma mater. According to Fr. Gaite, the seminary’s speech lab was donated by HRMS Class 1970 in honor of Saint John Chrysostom, the Patron Saint of Public Speakers, Preachers, and Orators. If pursued, the group hopes to help improve the student’s public speaking ability as well as helping them to be more assertive.
