Bamboo Cross

Male volunteers carry the 10 meter long bamboo cross as they ascend the hills of Sitio Canomoy, Brgy San Isidro Norte, Lagonoy, in the afternoon of April 4, Holy Tuesday. The cross was mounted in the middle of the hills where a Eucharistic Celebration was made as a culminating activity. A Via Crucis from the parish church passing trough the streets of the town then going up the hills was initiated by Sts. Philip and James the Apostles Parish in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur.It was led by its parish priest Fr. Gilbert Briguera. A big crowd participated in the religious activity.
