Daily pray for the health of Pope Francis

NAGA CITY - The Immaculate Conception Parish Saradit na Kristiyanong Komunidad (ICP SKKs) gather daily to pray for the health of Pope Francis. The Holy Father has been confined at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome since February 14. During the course of his stay, he has been receiving treatment for Pneumonia and has had blood transfusions for anemia and thrombocytopenia. His attending doctors still consider Pope Francis’ medical condition as “critical” but “stable”, and prognosis remains “guarded”. Currently, the Pope is still receiving treatment for Pneumonia and is on supplemental oxygen. Renal function has not worsened, although blood tests show mild impairment. Thousands of people worldwide continue to pray for the Holy Father’s health as doctors also await the result of his recent pulmonary CT scan. Cardinals residing in Rome are joined each night by the clergy and the faithful to pray the Holy Rosary for the Pope’s healing, while the Holy Hour is observed everyday at the Gemelli Hospital for same intention.
