LGU-Daraga launches Arangkada Banwa Mobile Lab and Clinic bus

LEGAZPI CITY --- The Local Government Unit of Daraga launched Arangkada Banwa Mobile Lab and Clinic (ABMLC) bus on Jan. 5, Thursday. ABMLC intends to provide free medical and dental services to Daragueños.
‘’We have a new ABMLC bus that is larger and fully air conditioned. Aside from regular blood testing and x-ray, prenatal ultrasound for pregnant is also available,’’ Daraga Mayor Carlwyn ‘Awin’ Baldo stated.
Chest x-ray, ultrasound for the whole abdomen, kidney, gallbladder, urinary bladder, breast, thyroid, liver, and prostate will be part of the services of the mobile clinic.
For ultrasound, 10 slots per day will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
The ABMLC bus was added to the two mobile labs and clinics that were taking rounds in remote Barangay’s of Daraga.
‘’It will be temporarily stationed at Daraga Covered court from 6AM to 3PM, Mondays to Fridays before going around the barangay’s that will be announced by the Daraga Public Information Office,’’ Baldo stated.
Those who intend to avail of the services may bring their Certificate of Indigency or Residency, valid I.D and a doctor’s request.
For those who cannot bring their doctor’s request, Baldo stated that there is a resident doctor who will provide free check up for them.
In October 2022, a total of 2,234 Daragueños availed the free medical and dental service of ABMLC.
Recipients were residents from neighboring Barangays of Anislag, Alobo, Burgos, Dinoronan, Dela Paz, Gapo, Gabawan, Inarado, Kinawitan, Malobago, Namanatao and availees at Daraga Covered Court. (PIA5/Albay)
