Naga City Police Office receives 3 awards

The Naga City Police Office (NCPO) was conferred with three awards during the celebration of the120th Police Service anniversary celebration on Aug.16 this year at the Police Regional Office 5 in Camp Simeon Ola in Legazpi City.
Two of the awards, namely, the Best City Police Office and the Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations, which were given to Col. Marlon Catan, are regional awards, while the Best City Mobile Force Company is a national award. Lt. Col. Rommel Labarro heads this police unit.
The awards were conferred for the outstanding performance of the NCPO in the field of administration and operation, which greatly contributed to the realization of the PNP’s thrusts.
A member of the Naga City Police Office’s City Mobile Force Company provides a face mask to a Naga resident when the city was placed under modified enhance community quarantine (MECQ) by the National Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases from June 15 to June 30, 2021.
In an interview, Lt. Col. Errol Garchitorena, NCPO director for administration, attributed the recognition to all NCPO members who religiously perform their respective duties in partnership with the people in the barangays and the city officials.
“It is in working with our partners in the community and the city government that we continue to achieve favorable results for our anti-criminality drive and in ensuring that the peace and order situation in our beloved city is maintained,” Garchitorena said.
The Naga City government commended the NCPO for the awards it received.
It also assured the police office of its continued support in the NCPO’s operation and programs.
The awardees received trays of eggs as a unique way of PRO5 leadership to acknowledge and give recognition to its personnel for their extraordinary accomplishments.
