NO MORE GARBAGE

The garbage dumping public nuisance has since been abated so far by the Canaman municipal government by a one-time removal operation entailing several truckloads of garbage on a lot of the Fernando landowning family. To prevent further unauthorized garbage dumping, it has taken the most affected RJ Village homeowner, international organization retiree Socorro Espiritu, to set up new hog wire fencing and likewise interesting preventive signage to preempt usually night-time garbage dumpers who are often hired trimobile or pajak drivers. It is a small but notable measure of self-help. Best though to get more help or responsible action, especially from the Fernando family, the barangay authorities and the homeowners association. Otherwise, it could become like the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Bicol Mail featured on its frontpage a photo of this site as a garbage dumping area in its Feb. 17, 2022 issue.
