PEÑAFRANCIA 2024 MESSAGE

Greetings of peace and joy to all the devotees of Our Lady of Peñafrancia all over the globe!

Our 2024 Peñafrancia celebration is special because of the 100th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia (1924). We thank the almighty God for INA. She has always been our Mother and Queen -Se Siempre La Reina de Nuestra Region.

We gratefully testify that our devotion to INA is a most valuable and sacred inheritance. We proclaim: Pamanang Banal: Atamnon, Padanayon, Palakupon.

Our Lady’s love and intercession inspire, strengthen and console us as we continue to face life’s difficulties and challenges, life’s changes and transitions. In times of need, we turn to her. In times of calamities - typhoons, earthquakes, and other disasters, she has been our constant companion and refuge. Truly, she is our Queen Mother -our life, our sweetness and our hope.

As we walk with Ina towards the future, let us journey together amidst this rapidly changing world. She walks with us and never abandons as, as she never abandoned Jesus until the cross.

Guided by her, let us embrace the mission of going to the farthest and neglected areas to seek our needy brothers and sisters.

Let us pay homage to her wherever we may be. Let us pay homage to her by our prayers, pilgrimages and other acts of devotion; and certainly by acts of kindness and charity. Let us pay homage to her as a community - praying and working together; helping one another as brothers and sisters. We are pilgrims of hope.

And with her and through her, we offer praise and thanksgiving to the Blessed Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
