Buy-Bust Operation in Sagñay

AT around 12:34 PM on March 24, 2025, in Zone 1, Barangay Mabca, Sagñay, Camarines Sur, joint operatives of Sagñay MPS (lead unit), the 2nd PMFC CSPPO, and PDEA ROV conducted a drug buy-bust operation. The operation resulted in the arrest of Nardito Sarsona Jr. y Doro, 38, a construction worker and habal-habal driver from Zone 1, Barangay Mabca.

Sarsona was apprehended after selling one (1) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a crystalline substance, suspected to be shabu, in exchange for a genuine ₱500 bill (buy-bust money). A subsequent search yielded two (2) additional small heat-sealed sachets containing a similar crystalline substance, suspected to be shabu.

Arrest for rape by SA

AT around 1:40 PM on March 24, 2025, in Barangay Sta. Rosa Del Sur, Pasacao, Camarines Sur, the tracker team of Pasacao MPS arrested Jayson Cuba Priolo, 45, widowed, and a resident of Zone 5, Barangay Sta. Rosa Del Sur.

Priolo was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Agaton S. Fajardo, Presiding Judge of Family Court, 5th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Hall of Justice, Naga City, dated November 22, 2024. He faces charges of Statutory Rape (Article 266-A [1][D] in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code) and Rape by Sexual Assault (Article 266-A [2] in relation to Section 5[b] of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648) under Criminal Case Nos. 2024-1154, 2024-1155, and 2024-1156. No bail was recommended.

Robbery suspect arrested

PASACAO, Camarines Sur – At around 6:00 PM on March 24, 2025, in Barangay Balogo, the tracker team of Pasacao MPS arrested Richard Palermo y Mirate, 25, a vendor residing in Sitio Pinagpala, Barangay Balogo.

Palermo was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Agaton S. Fajardo, Presiding Judge of Family Court, 5th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Hall of Justice, Naga City, dated March 21, 2025. He is facing charges of Robbery by the Use of Force Upon Things in an Inhabited House under Criminal Case No. CICL 0006-2025. Bail was set at ₱72,000.

Arrest for violation of ordinance

AT around 7:55 PM on March 24, 2025, in Barangay Sabang, Calabanga, Camarines Sur, personnel of Siruma MPS arrested Genly Villanueva y Clacio, 51, a fisherman and resident of Barangay Sabang, Calabanga.

Villanueva was apprehended for violating Municipal Ordinance No. 18, Resolution No. 32, Series of 1997 (Illegal Fishing) under Criminal Case No. S-01-1683. The warrant was issued by Hon. Eddie R. Monserate, Municipal Trial Judge, 5th Judicial Region, Municipal Trial Court of Siruma, on October 8, 2001. Bail was set at ₱1,500.

Wanted person arrested for LC

AT around 7:20 PM on March 24, 2025, in Barangay Caranan, Pasacao, Camarines Sur, the tracker team of Pasacao MPS arrested Renato Dela Rosa Sr. y Larcena, 62, a caretaker and resident of Zone 2, Barangay Sta. Rosa Del Norte, Pasacao.

Dela Rosa was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Agaton S. Fajardo, Presiding Judge of Family Court, 5th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Hall of Justice, Naga City, dated March 21, 2025. He faces charges of two counts of Lascivious Conduct (Section 5[b] of RA 7610 as amended by RA 116481) and violation of Section 10[A] of RA 7610 under Criminal Case Nos. 2025-0308, 2025-0309, and 2025-0310. Bail was set at ₱260,000.
