TUPAD payout in Paracale and Labo, Camarines Norte
At least 939 beneficiaries in Labo and Paracale, Camarines Norte received their Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD) wages amounting P4.7 million last Thursday for the 16-day clean up drive in their own homes and community.
TUPAD program under Bayanihan 2 serves as an intervention measure to help informal sector workers recover from the devastation brought by three typhoons that battered the region, and the economic impact following the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Present during the payout were Regional Director Joel M. Gozales, Engr. Arturo P. Corbe, Provincial Director of DOLE Camarines Norte, Provincial Governor of Camarines Norte Edgardo A. Tallado, Municipal Mayor of Labo, Joseph V. Ascutia and Municipal Vice-mayor Dindo V. Pardo, 1st District Representative Josephine B. Tallado, Romeo V. Moreno Municipal Mayor of Paracale and Municipal Vice-mayor Bernadette E. Asutilla.
